Supporting the Community of the Rame Peninsula
• The Peninsula Trust's services include The Rame Centre based in Millbrook, where they are able to offer advice on Debt, Housing, Benefits, Grants etc, either face-to-face or on the phone
• Our Application Pack is available from the Rame Centre
• As an advice service, they are able to liase with us to offer one-to-one help in filing out our Application Form within the pack
Community Health Around Torpoint
• CHAT in Torpoint has helped us by delivering Fresh Food Boxes containing fruit, veg, meat and dairy
• Their Community Charity Shop in Torpoint offers outstanding value
• CHATLINK also provides much needed local support through their health groups such as exercise, diabetic, stress/anxiety management and walking groups to name a few
• They also run or support social groups in the Community to prevent isolation
The Real Junk Food Project Torpoint & Rame
• A community based social enterprise offering a groceries ‘shop’ in their Millbrook unit each week -pay whatever you can afford
• Café Abundance can also deliver meals, beauifully cooked by them to your home, for free, or again whatever you can afford
• They exist to stop edible food from being wasted, including a home waste food bin recylcying service. The waste food is composted by them and then available to buy

For People, Not For Profit
• Devon and Cornwall Furniture Reuse Project are a local charity doing big things, they work hard with local people, councils and social housing entities to supply much needed furniture and appliances to people getting back on their feet.
• They wouldn’t be able to do it without you, the people donation pre-loved goods. If you think you could help, they offer house clearances and collections for all items that meet requirements and regulations.
